Based on Gaston Leroux’s gothic novel of life beneath the stage of the Paris Opera House, the story tells the tale of Phantom – a man ashamed of his physical appearance – who hides from the real world in the darkness of the theatre. Haunting the opera house and feared by all, he manipulates the actors and crew. But when he falls in love with a chorus girl whose old friend returns to rescue her, will he get his revenge?
