Who we are
We’re unique, not only are we the ultimate guide to everything you need to know about London theatre, but we’re the ONLY ticket buying platform run by the Society Of London Theatre. Society Of London Theatre, or ‘SOLT’ as it’s known in the industry, is a not-for-profit making organisation representing theatres and producers and has been championing theatres since 1908 with a team dedicated to making theatre as welcoming as possible for everyone.
Why this should matter to you…
When you choose to buy your theatre tickets with us, you help make theatre more accessible to all. This is because any profits we make are reinvested into our work engaging children who have never been to the theatre, inspiring young people to consider a career in theatre and enabling deaf and disabled people to attend our theatres. You can read more about the projects we run and fund here.
So, as a theatre fan, when you buy from us – you can enjoy theatre AND feel great about giving back!
That’s not all…
We work directly with the shows to bring you the latest news, information and offers so you can get the most out of your theatre visit. We have a fantastic range of tickets for musicals, plays, comedies, opera and dance at a price to suit every budget. You can book ahead or you can be spontaneous and purchase tickets on the day as our world-famous TKTS booth is now online. Make sure to sign up to our newsletters and follow us on social so you can be the first to know about the latest openings, tickets and competitions, plus get the inside scoop on all our events and campaigns including West End Live, the Olivier Awards, Kids Week and Show Time sale.
What we’re up to now…
We are so excited to celebrate our theatres as they reopen and have launched our #BackOnStage campaign. We would love you to be one of our audience ambassadors and share your experience of live theatre again. We are committed to ensuring that all our theatres reopen safely and have created an industry wide See it Safely mark. When you see the mark you know that the theatre is complying with all the latest government guidelines. Flexibility is the key for everyone at the moment and you can now exchange your tickets 24 hours prior to the show if you or anyone in your party is unwell.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been lobbying the Government, supporting our members and audiences, and finding ways to help theatre professionals struggling as a result of this crisis. We have set up the Theatre Artists Fund, spearheaded by Sam Mendes, to offer emergency grants to those talented freelancers in our industry who have not been able to access any government support during the pandemic.
