Vivien Parry’s #TopHatChat

Published 14 November 2012

Actress Vivien Parry, who plays witty wife Madge Hardwick in Top Hat, was the second performer to face your questions in our #TopHatChat Twitter takeover.

The Theatr Clwyd regular and former star of Blood Brothers and Mamma Mia! brought a wry sense of humour to proceedings, as she sat down in the @O_L_T hot seat, otherwise known as the Aldwych theatre’s production office. Tea in hand and laptop at her fingertips, she answered questions on colleagues, Fred and Ginger, ideal roles and pre-show paraphernalia.

If you missed the live takeover, you can read highlights below.

Don’t miss the next takeover, though! Stephen Boswell, whose career has taken him across the country from the Drum theatre, Plymouth to the Liverpool Playhouse, brings his delightful feel for comedy to the role of Bates in Top Hat. Ask him about the show, working on film Thunderpants or even his plans for Christmas by hopping onto Twitter at 12:30 on 15 November, tweeting @O_L_T and including #TopHatChat. We’ll even have five signed Top Hat posters to give away! You can find a full list of #TopHatChat Twitter takeover dates here.
