You’re nominated for the most prestigious theatre award around, invited to a glamorous ceremony, but you’re performing just minutes before it starts. What do you do? If you’re The Play That Goes Wrong, you film your panicked rush to make it.

Delving in and out of dressing rooms, with performers in various states of dress and preparation, charging up and down stairs with no thought for their own personal safety, The Play That Goes Wrong’s brave cameraperson charts all the action as the cast desperately races against time to make it to the Olivier Awards 2015 with MasterCard.

*Spoiler alert* They make it. Not only that, they also take home the statuette for Best New Comedy, capping off a remarkable journey for the show that was first seen at the Old Red Lion Theatre.

The tale of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’s desperate attempts to stage a 1920s murder mystery, which go, as the title suggests, ever so slightly wrong, has caught the imagination of London’s theatregoers with its sharp wit, silly slapstick and phenomenal physical comedy.

Take a look at The Play That Goes Wrong’s Challenge Anneka-style Olivier attempt at the top of the page.
