Three hashtags we will be supporting this week

Published 23 March 2020

In these challenging times, there is so much hard work being done to support various industries and we are jumping at the opportunity to help! Here’s three campaigns we are supporting this week:

#StayAtHome

In order to encourage people to stay at home, we’ll be making some fun content which includes reasons to stay at home from some much-loved theatre characters. We’ll be tagging any shows, cast and creative members that we cover over the next few days, so please do reshare your favs!

We’d also love for you to get involved by posting what you are doing whilst staying at home. It could be a video message encouraging others to stay at home, a picture or any other theatre-inspired fun that comes to mind!

#ClapForOurCarers

On 26 March at 8pm, #ClapForOurCarers have asked the country to join them in a big applause (from front doors, garden, balcony, windows, living rooms, etc.) to show all those who are working at the front line our appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against Coronavirus. We will be encouraging actors, creatives and theatre staff to share a video of them getting involved using the hashtag, and we will be sharing these on our channels. Keep your eyes peeled and please do reshare and join in!

#WorldTheatreDay

We will be celebrating World Theatre Day on Friday 27 March so make sure to follow our channels to join in on all the fun! Spread the word and shout about all the things you love about theatre using #WorldTheatreDay.
