2019. Two thousand and nineteen. Twenty nineteen…. yep, we’re finally used to writing it. It’s only taken us 4 months to stop accidentally portraying ourselves as time travellers, and here we are. But while we’ve been practising our numbers, we put together this something to test yours – in our musical-themed Theatre Quiz!
Yes, the Theatre Quiz is back this week, and it’s more theatre-y and… er… quizzical (?) than ever before! And seeing as we’ve got a whole selection of exciting brand new musicals opening up at the moment (you can get suitably excited right here), we’ve come up with this latest humdinger of a quiz.
The game is simple: we’ve left some blanks in some London musicals’ lyrics – some well-known, some considerably less so. All you have to do is select the correct number to fill them in – but be warned, as you only get one shot at each question, and there are some tricky ones in there…
You’ve got 5 minutes. And be warned: like writing “2019” for the first few months of the year, this one’s not easy…
Good luck – and as ever, let us know how you did!

Fancy another theatre quiz from our archives? Can you take on Showstopper’s Improvised Musical challenge? Can you name which Six queen sang it? How well do you know ‘Any Dream Will Do’ from Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat? And how well do you know Waitress? Can you complete our “Try Not To Sing Along” challenge (and its sequel)? How many songs Company lyrics can you complete?
Or how many London theatres, popular Phantom Of The Opera songs, Wicked songs, London theatre characters, inspirational musicals, movie-musicals, Les Misérables songs, Olivier Award-winning musicals, or longest-running West End productions of all-time, can you name?
