Damian Humbley, Summer Strallen and Caroline O’Connor will join Andrew Lippa for a series of concerts to celebrate the work of the Tony Award nominated composer at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 27 May.

Directed by the Menier’s Artistic Director David Babani, The Life Of The Party – A Celebration Of The Songs Of Andrew Lippa will play until 14 June at the London Bridge venue.

The concert will feature hits from some of Lippa’s most successful shows including John & Jen, The Wild Party, The Addams Family and Big Fish while exploring their stories and sharing the characters’ journeys in a funny and poignant musical celebration.

Lippa will host the concert alongside Love Never Dies and The Sound Of Music star Strallen, Humbley, who returns to the venue following his performance in Maria Friedman’s Olivier Award-winning production of Merrily We Roll Along, and O’Connor, whose previous London stage credits include Mack & Mabel and Bombshells.

The Life Of The Party – A Celebration Of The Songs Of Andrew Lippa will feature lighting and sound design by 2013 Olivier Award winners Gareth Owen and Tim Lutkin with choreography by Lynne Page. It will play at the Menier Chocolate Factory prior to the return of Forbidden Broadway from 18 June to 16 August.
