Summer school at Fairfield Halls

First Published 11 June 2010, Last Updated 11 June 2010

Young people interested in musical theatre can have the chance to show off their skills by joining an EduStage summer school at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, this August.

Since 2006 EduStage has been running non-residential summer schools across the UK with the aim of teaching young people the skills involved in musical theatre performance.

This year the company is offering two week-long courses at Fairfield Halls, one for children aged 8 to 12 (2-6 August) and another for teenagers aged 13 to 17 (9-13 August). No audition is necessary.

Each course offers participants the chance to work on an original musical. Throughout the week they can develop their acting, singing and dancing skills with the help of professional directors, leading to a final performance, in full costume, in front of family and friends.
