Shenton and Curran Awake in The Cast

First Published 17 April 2008, Last Updated 15 May 2008

The Cast, Official London Theatre's fortnightly podcast packed with news and views from London's theatre, is back with a show focusing on first nights and the upcoming autumn season. Theatre critic Mark Shenton joins Matthew Amer in the studio to chat about the first night work of a critic and the shows he is looking forward to seeing, Tony Curran talks about his new show The Bacchae, and The Cast's reporter Katie Collins sneaks into the first night party of Awake And Sing! to soak up the glitz and glamour.

As ever in the cast, there is a run down of the hottest shows to look out for in the coming weeks, in addition to the discussions and interviews.

The Cast is the latest way to indulge your passion for theatre, and can be listened to on your computer or downloaded to a handy MP3 player so that you can enjoy it on the way to work, while you're out jogging or anywhere at all really!

We would love to know what you think of this new way of sharing our enjoyment of London theatre, so please have a listen to The Cast and tell us what you think by emailing editorial@officiallondontheatre.co.uk
