New shows on sale for Kids Week

First Published 22 June 2012, Last Updated 23 June 2012

Tickets for The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, Monty Python’s Spamalot and the Reduced Shakespeare Company are now on sale with Kids Week.

Kids Week, our popular annual campaign that runs throughout August and offers a free child’s ticket per adult ticket purchased, plus the opportunity to purchase up to another two kids’ tickets half price, is already enjoying a record-breaking year with more than 42,000 tickets snapped up in the first 24 hours of tickets going on sale.

If CS Lewis’ magical story, The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, staged in a huge tent, the hilarious antics in musical Monty Python’s Spamalot or the Reduced Shakespeare Company’s tantalisingly silly new Complete World Of Sport (Abridged)! don’t appeal, there are still tickets available for many other hit productions including The Wizard Of Oz, Ragtime The Musical, Dreamboats And Petticoats and The Mousetrap.

Due to popular demand, Shrek The Musical has also added new Saturday and Sunday performances and Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain has added nine new performances. Plus, there are a host of activities and events left to book for along with your show ticket, from Q&As with Blood Brothers, Carousel and Reduced Shakespeare Company to a backstage tour with Monty Python’s Spamalot or an acting workshop with Chariots Of Fire.

You can get a free taster of many of the shows taking part in this year’s Kids Week at this weekend’s theatrical spectacular West End LIVE, the annual free festival in Trafalgar Square. This year there will be performances from every single musical playing in the West End, special solo sets from West End stars Mark Evans, Louise Dearman and Alex Gaumond, plus much more.
