The Last Five Years

Closing: 17 October

If music be the food of love, play on! That quote couldn’t be any more true when it comes to Jason Robert Brown’s award-winning musical, The Last Five Years.

The stunning sung-through musical follows the love story of a young couple across the course of five years, told from each of the lovers perspective. From their romantic meet cute to bitter disagreements and heartbreak, this beautiful musical is packed with emotion and power.

Each of them take it in turns to share their story, with Jamie starting with the sparks felt upon their first meeting, while Cathy’s is told in reverse, from the end of their partnership. And when the two finally collide in the middle of the show, it’s nothing short of magical.

If you’re a fan of musicals, RUN don’t walk. Featuring live piano, ukulele and guitar performances throughout the show, this production is equally special for its storytelling alongside its exquisite music.

Oleanna

Closing: 23 October

Lucy Bailey’s explosive new production Oleanna tells the story of a female student who makes a sexual harassment claim against her male college professor.

Oleanna is one of the most controversial and celebrated plays of the last thirty years. If you’re looking to see a captivating show about the battle of power, privilege and consent, book your tickets to see this show before it closes soon.

Leopoldstadt

Closing: 30 October

Written by one of Britain’s greatest living playwrights, Tom Stoppard, Leopoldstadt is an Olivier Award-winning play that tells the heart-breaking story of a family who made good against all odds.

Directed by Patrick Marber (The Caretaker by Harold Pinter) follows the tale of a Jewish family in Vienna across six decades. In it, Tom Stoppard explores Jewish identity and how history impacts it, from institutionalised antisemitism to the outright terror of the Holocaust and its post-war trauma.

While Leopoldstadt is not directly based on Tom’s life, he has said it’s his most personal play and perhaps his last. So if you want to experience the power of the playwright’s work come to life on stage, book your tickets to see this show before it’s too late!

Don’t forget, our TKTS booth in Leicester Square is now back open, so if you’re in the West End and looking to catch a last minute show, pop over and see our friendly colleagues who can tell you all about what on-the-day tickets are available, many of which are on sale at incredible reduced prices. You can also purchase the same great tickets online here.
