Last call for new Olivier Award judges

First Published 12 November 2009, Last Updated 15 August 2018

Prospective Laurence Olivier Award judges, who have the opportunity to enjoy a year of the finest theatre London has to offer, have until the end of this month to apply for the prestigious posts.

The Society of London Theatre needs a group of committed theatre enthusiasts to join its theatre professionals on the panels which will decide the recipients of the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards, the most coveted accolade in London theatre.

The lucky theatre lovers will sit on either the Theatre, Opera, Dance or Affiliate panels, and watch up to 80 shows a year, completely free, to pick the crème de la crème of performances, productions, directors and designers plying their trade in the theatre capital of the world.

If you regularly rave about performances, aren’t afraid to express an opinion and would like the chance to spend a year seeing the West End’s finest but not paying for it, why not apply?

Application forms can be found online and at West End theatres, and can be requested by emailing awards@solttma.co.uk or sending a self-addressed envelope to Awards Office, The Society of London Theatre, 32 Rose Street, London WC2E 9ET. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2009.
