The annual discount ticket promotion Get Into London Theatre launched yesterday, 9 December, with reduced-price tickets available for a huge range of London theatre’s incredible shows.
An annual initiative offering tourists, Brits and Londoners the chance to enjoy a top London show at the fraction of its normal cost, Get Into London Theatre opened for booking at 10:00 yesterday morning, with tickets available for performances between 1 January and 13 February 2009.
This year over 45 shows are taking part in Get Into London Theatre, offering tickets at £15, £25 or £35, making the promotion a cheaper way to enjoy the many different shows London has to offer.
Tickets can be bought online from www.getintolondontheatre.co.uk or by calling 0871 230 1548.
TheatreFix (www.theatrefix.co.uk), a promotion initially running for the same period of time as Get Into London Theatre, aimed specifically at theatregoers aged 16-26, also launched this morning.
While the TheatreFix promotion will end on 13 February, the website, www.theatrefix.co.uk, will continue to publicise age-specific offers throughout the year.
Both Get Into London Theatre and TheatreFix are run by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), a trade association that represents the producers, theatre owners and managers of the major commercial and grant-aided theatres in central London.
