Lin-Manuel Miranda’s multi award-winning musical arrives at the Victoria Palace Theatre in October 2017.
Hot off its winning streak at the 70th Annual Tony Awards, it has been announced that Hamilton, the record-breaking Broadway musical will open at the newly refurbished Victoria Palace Theatre in October next year.

Cameron Mackintosh, who is producing the London transfer, described Hamilton as ‘one of the most brilliant, original and entertaining musicals I have ever seen […] which will be performed somewhere in the world as long as people want to go to the theatre.’

The musical tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who fought alongside George Washington in the Revolutionary War and went on to become America’s first Treasury Secretary; forging the country’s financial system. The score features a blend of modern musical styles, including rap, R&B and hip-hop, winning the show’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda both a Grammy and a Tony Award. The show has broken box office records on Broadway and has gained a phenomenal fan base, including President Barack Obama.

Hamilton opens at the Victoria Palace Theatre in October 2017. Tickets will go on sale in November 2016. You can sign up for priority booking on the show’s official website now.
