Richmond theatre is offering a unique way for 12 to 16-year-olds to fill the summer holidays with its new week-long summer school.
Held from 25 to 29 July, the summer school gives participants the chance to work with professional theatre directors and designers to create an original performance inspired by the dark fairytales of the Brothers Grimm. As well as scripting the show and being involved in all creative decisions, those taking part will learn how to design the performance space and build and animate puppets. Finally they will perform the finished piece on stage in front of friends and family.
