First Published 5 July 2017, Last Updated 5 July 2017

Full casting has been announced for The Blues Brothers – Summer Special, which includes the return of Joshua Mumby as Elwood Blues and David Kristopher-Brown as Jake Blues, alongside Helen Hart and Hannah Kee as the Stax Sisters, and new cast member Arnold Mabhena as Ray.

Asking audiences to grab their shades and get ready to shake their tail feathers, the popular characters return to the London stage with their supercharged, rock ‘n’ roll party The Blues Brothers – Summer Special, in an exclusive summer run at The Hippodrome at the heart of the West End.

The Hippodrome’s 230-seat cabaret theatre will host the show from 18 July – 26 August, with press night on Friday 21 July.

Featuring 20 of the most popular rock ‘n’ roll classics of all time – including Respect, Jailhouse Rock, Soul Man and Do You Love Me? – The Blues Brothers – Summer Special is created with the blessing of the team behind the original Blues Brothers, and now also includes some never-seen-before material created under the guidance of Judith Belushi.

Brought to the stage by Hartshorn – Hook Productions and directed by Joshua Mumby, The Blues Brothers are backed by the sassy Stax Sisters with the tightest rhythm and blues band in the city.

You can book your tickets through the show’s website.
