Eric And Little Ern returns to London

The Olivier Award nominated production of Eric And Little Ern will return to London this Christmas, playing a limited four-week season at the St James Theatre.

The affectionate and funny homage to the greatest comedy double act that Britain has ever seen will play at the Victoria venue from 16 December (press night 17 December) to 11 January.

Created and performed by Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens, Eric And Little Ern recreates some of Morecambe and Wise’s finest television and stage performances using a combination of cherished moments from the archives and new material created by Ashpitel and Stephens.

Directed by Owen Lewis, the production opened at the Vaudeville Theatre in November 2013 when it was described by Official London Theatre’s Matthew Amer as “pure, unadulterated, nostalgia-tinged entertainment”.

The comedy, which was nominated in the Best Entertainment and Family category at this year’s Olivier Awards with MasterCard, will play alongside Tall Stories’ family hit The Snow Dragon over the festive period.
