Dora explores the West End

First Published 14 May 2012, Last Updated 14 May 2012

Dora The Explorer will bring her love of exploration to the West End when Nickelodeon’s Dora The Explorer LIVE! Search For The City Of Lost Toys arrives at the Apollo theatre this summer.

The live musical adaptation of the popular children’s TV show will play at the venue for a three week run from 28 August to 16 September, before embarking on a national tour in spring next year.

In Dora The Explorer LIVE! Search For The City Of Lost Toys, Dora has lost her beloved teddy bear Osito and the search is on to find him.

The two-act song and dance show is designed to teach children to explore, communicate and solve puzzles while helping Dora, Map, Backpack, Boots, Diego and their courageous friends pass through the number pyramid and the mixed-up jungle to the City of Lost Toys.

Dora can be joined on her journey to the City of Lost Toys for matinee performances at the Apollo theatre following a different journey altogether, as Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night closes on 18 August.
