The cast for the upcoming world premiere of The End Of History has been announced, with David Morrissey and Lesley Sharp in the lead roles.

A new play by Jack Thorne, The End Of History tells the story of married couple Sal and David (played by Lesley and David), as they await their children coming home for a family dinner, and there’s a lot to worry about.

Lesley Sharp and David Morrissey play husband and wife in Jack Thorne’s new play.

Their eldest son Carl is bringing his new girlfriend to meet everyone for the first time; daughter Polly is coming back from Cambridge University just for the occasion; and their youngest, Tom, will hopefully he’ll make it out of detention in time.

But Sal and David aren’t worried about the food they’re dishing up; they’d rather feed their kids with leftist ideals and welfarism. After all, when you’ve named each of your offspring after your socialist heroes, you’ve given them a lot to live up to.
