Brent Cross gets Night Garden

First Published 26 May 2011, Last Updated 26 May 2011

Popular pre-school theatrical experience In The Night Garden Live has added an extra London date to its UK tour this summer. Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka will come to Brent Cross shopping centre from 10 to 24 September.

In The Night Garden Live is written by Andrew Davenport, the creator of the CBeebies television programme upon which it is based, and directed by former Royal Ballet dancer Will Tuckett. Staged inside a purpose-built inflatable dome, the show uses puppets, music and projections to bring the familiar world to life, allowing youngsters to see their favourite characters up close.

The stage show was first seen in London last year, when the dome set up camp at the O2 Meridian Gardens. Before coming to Brent Cross in September the show will play in Richmond Old Deer Park from 30 July to 13 August.
