ATG holds new performing arts course

Published 3 March 2011

Budding young performers aged 11 to 18 can have the chance to learn from professionals by joining a new West End Performing Arts Course during the Easter school holidays.

Created by leading theatre owner and producer Ambassador Theatre Group, the three-day course, held from 18 to 20 April, aims to give participants a taste of what it is like to perform in the West End.

Experts including a leading West End director, a former Royal Shakespeare Company member, a West End dance captain and a top London singing tutor will lead sessions on directing, singing, acting, and dancing over the three days. Participants will have the chance to develop acting and singing techniques, look at how to approach a text and learn a fully choreographed piece.

The course costs £100 and places can be booked by emailing ellenbott@theambassadors.com before 16 March.
