Based on the hit 1990 film, Ghost The Musical tells a timeless story about the power of love.

After being killed, Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next trying to communicate with his girlfriend Molly through a phoney psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.

In addition to including the classic song Unchained Melody, which is inextricably linked with the film’s famous potter’s wheel scene, Ghost The Musical features new music written by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and six-time Grammy Award-winner Glen Ballard, who has written for artists including Aretha Franklin, Van Halen, Aerosmith and Michael Jackson.

Ghost The Musical is adapted for the stage by Bruce Joel Rubin, the writer of the film which starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. Rubin’s other screenplays include Jacob’s Ladder, Deep Impact and The Time Traveller’s Wife.

Ghost The Musical director Matthew Warchus is a West End regular, with productions including Deathtrap, God Of Carnage, Art, Boeing Boeing The Lord Of The Rings and The Norman Conquests among his credits.
