West End stars to stage charity show at The Shard

A number of West End stars will be performing songs from musical classics 800 feet above London tonight (8pm, Wednesday 25 October), in aid of children’s charity Variety.

Numbers from the likes of Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Phantom Of The Opera will be performed up at the View from The Shard this evening in an event launched in partnership with Variety, the Children’s Charity. It will also include performances from world-class modern showstoppers such as Motown The Musical, Wicked and Mamma Mia!.

Audiences can take a step to extraordinary heights and book tickets through the View from The Shard website. Funds raised on the night will go to support Variety’s work to keep improving the lives of thousands of sick, disabled and disadvantage young people.

Taking musicals to literally new levels, and adding entertainment to already-amazing photo opportunities, the performers, With the goal of raising awareness and entertaining as never before, you’ll listen to lyrics from the very best West End and Broadway musicals, and maybe even join in too!
