First Published 10 June 2016, Last Updated 10 June 2016

There’s just one week to go before the annual musical extravaganza that is West End LIVE in association with MasterCard, and the star-studded line-up has just been released.

The Saturday show kicks off with a performance from Motown The Musical, which is sure to have you dancing in the street. This is followed by a stream of numbers from West End greats, including Wicked, Matilda The Musical, Les Misérables and The Phantom Of The Opera. The afternoon features exclusive previews from Jesus Christ Superstar and The Secret Garden, as well as a performance from the legendary Royal Opera Chorus. Bringing the show to a colourful, cacophonous finish are Stomp and Olivier Award winner In The Heights.

Disney’s The Lion King is first on the bill on Sunday, followed by performances from Guys And Dolls and The Bodyguard, featuring vocal sensation Beverley Knight. Later on you can catch previews of brand new musical Murder Ballad starring Kerry Ellis, and watch pop queen Pixie Lott perform in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Rounding off the show are a string of cabaret performances from some of London’s leading men, including Daniel Boys and Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo.

More than 500,000 people are expected to flock to Trafalgar Square for the legendary live festival’s 12th year. Follow West End LIVE on Twitter and Facebook for all the latest news.
