Memphis The Musical fans received a treat like no other this weekend. Well, the ones that came to both days of West End LIVE did, anyway.

Not only did they enjoy the tuneful stylings of current Olivier Award nominated stars – and bona fide friends of Official London Theatre – Beverley Knight and Killian Donnelly on Saturday, but incoming performer and X Factor winner Matt Cardle took to the stage alongside Knight’s alternate Rachel John on Sunday to give them a taste of what was in store.

Most of Trafalgar Square ended the Memphis performance barefoot, so many socks were knocked off by the When We Collide singer’s rendition of Memphis Lives In Me.

We caught up with all three backstage at West End LIVE after their performances to ask them about the show, leaving, joining, filling shoes and performing in Trafalgar Square. See what they said at the top of the page.

Memphis The Musical is taking part in Kids Week, our annual promotion offering one free child’s ticket with every adult ticket bought for an August performance.

If you don’t fancy seeing the show in August, or don’t have a child to take with you, you can also buy tickets through us here.
