Video: In Potted Sherlock rehearsals

First Published 22 December 2014, Last Updated 30 December 2014

First came the huge, world conquering success of Potted Potter, then Potted Panto with its London acclaim and Olivier Award nomination. What could the Potted duo pot next we cried?

The answer came earlier this year with the news that Dan and Jeff were to tackle the works of the world’s most iconic detective, Sherlock Holmes. And, this time, they are bringing new potter Lizzie Wort along for the Potted ride.

Intrigued as to how they would employ their brilliantly ramshackle wit to present all 60 of Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories in just 80 minutes, we met up with the talented Potted Sherlock trio as they were busy rehearsing for their festive run last month, getting a sneak preview of the fun in store as well the chance to ask them a few probing questions.

From why Dan can rival Benedict Cumberbatch when it comes to donning a deerstalker to how entirety exactly they went about researching the Doyle’s weighty canon, watch our video above to find out through the medium of that much-loved unique Potted style of silliness.
