Video: In Conversation with… Handbagged

First Published 14 July 2014, Last Updated 15 July 2014

As part of our weekend of In Conversation talks at West End LIVE last month, Official London Theatre was lucky enough to catch up with three of Handbagged’s leading ladies before their matinee performance to talk politics, wigs and iconic women from history.

If you didn’t make it down to the rather gorgeous West End LIVE Spiegeltent in Leicester Square to watch the series of in-depth talks, fear not, we will be releasing films from each of the sessions on our YouTube channel, and Handbagged, with the supremely talented Marion Bailey, Fenella Woolgar and Lucy Robinson in the hot seats, is the latest to go live.

Watch the film above to find out exactly what it’s like to perform as two of British history’s most iconic women – Margaret Thatcher and The Queen – in Moira Buffini’s unique Olivier Award-winning hit as the fascinating trio discusses life on stage in one of 2014’s most acclaimed productions.

Don’t forget, Handbagged will come to the end of its West End run on 2 August, so make sure to book your tickets through us here now.
