Based off Michael Frayn’s observation while watching one of his farces from the wings that the play was “funnier from behind than in front”, Noises Off follows a hapless cast and crew attempting to put on their own play called Nothing On.
This new production will star BAFTA-nominee Meera Syal (best known for BBC’s The Kumars At No. 42) as Dotty, alongside Lloyd Owen (Cleaning Up, ITV) as Lloyd Dallas, Daniel Rigby (Best Actor BAFTA winner for BBC 2’s Eric & Ernie) as Garry Lejeune and Sarah Hadland (Miranda) as Belinda Blair.

Since Noises Off’s premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith in 1982, it has enjoyed revivals all around London, with a host of famous faces including Patricia Hodge, Peter Egan, Lynn Redgrave, Stephen Mangan and Celia Imrie.
