W1A and Last Tango In Halifax star Nina Sosanya has been cast alongside Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster) and Jason Watkins (Line Of Duty) in the upcoming West End production of the award-winning play Frozen.

Sosanya will play the role of Agnetha in Bryony Lavery’s play, alongside the previously announced Jones (who plays Nancy) and Watkins (Ralph). It marks her first return to the West End stage since starring in the National Theatre’s Chekhov season last year.

Frozen is a psychological thriller about a mother whose child, while walking to visit her Grandma one sunny evening, goes missing.

Filled with retribution, remorse and redemption, Frozen follows the interwoven lives of three strangers as they try to make sense of inconceivable circumstances.

Having been nominated for four Tony Awards on Broadway, Frozen is directed in the West End by Jonathan Munby, and will play a strictly limited twelve-week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from Friday 9 February 2018.
