A monster hunt, an unusual cabaret, snugly stories and an unpredictable transportation hub will all come to Lyric Square as part of the Lyric Hammersmith’s Theatre In The Square season this summer.

The annual event, staged in partnership with Greenwich + Docklands International Festival, Watford Palace Theatre and Latitude, will run on  Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 27 May to 18 June, offering a quartet of fun, free outdoor shows.

Bucket Club’s The Beasts (27 to 28 May) invites theatregoers to join The Royal Society of Beastologists as it searches for one of its most elusive targets. On 3 and 4 June audiences can enjoy Flipping The Bird’s The Itinerant Music Hall, the world’s smallest musical hall outfit, which blends storytelling with vaudeville and hilarious improvisation.

Page One Theatre’s Made Up Stories From My Unmade Bed (10 to 11 June) is a visual treat about a girl whose dreams escape her head to become adventures around her bed. Full Stop (17 to 18 June), by Light The Fuse, features the world’s most unpredictable bus shelter.

Following their run at Theatre In The Square, the quartet of shows will also play at the Imagine Watford Festival (19 to 29 June), Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (21 to 22 June) and Latitude Festival (17 to 20 July).
