Lord Of Dance returns to London

Due to popular demand, Michael Flatley’s current London Palladium hit Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games will transfer to the Dominion Theatre next March following its forthcoming world tour.

The spectacular dance production made its West End premiere last month, featuring Irish dance icon Flatley in his final West End performances and musical appearances from Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.

The show will play its final performance at the famous theatre on 25 October and, after it has entertained audiences across the world, return from 9 March for a six month run in its new Dominion Theatre home.

“It was always my dream to bring Lord Of The Dance to the West End,” Flatley explained. “We have had such a wonderful reception from the audiences who have raised the roof at the Palladium every night. I am absolutely thrilled that this great cast of stars and talented dancers will make their new home at the Dominion next year.”

Starring James Keegan, Morgan Comer and Matthew Smith as the Lords Of The Dances, Dangerous Games combines traditional Irish dance with stunning design and exciting music. The production, which includes a cast of 40 young performers, features holographic-effect projections which bring its story of a battle of good versus evil to colourful life.

Today’s announcement comes as Flatley prepares to become the latest star in be inducted into the London Palladium Hall of Fame tonight, joining iconic performances including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and the Beatles in the honoured line-up.
