Jon Lee & Keith Jack join Forever Plaid

Former Jersey Boys star Jon Lee and Any Dream Will Do runner-up Keith Jack are to star in the three-week run of hit US musical Forever Plaid at St James Theatre Studio.

The pair are joined in the production by Dreamboats And Petticoats’ Matthew Quinn and Luke Striffler, who reached the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent 2015 as part of The Kingdom Tenors.

First performed off-Broadway in 1990, Forever Plaid takes audiences on a trip through a collection of the greatest close-harmony songs of 50s, from Love Is A Many Splendored Thing to Catch A Falling Star.

The production, led by ex-S Club star Lee, runs at the St James’ smaller space from 5 to 24 April, while the larger St James Theatre first plays host to brand new musical Miss Atomic Bomb (until 9 April) then acclaimed play about mothers and daughters, My Mother Said I Never Should (from 13 April).
