John Travolta has London conversation

Published 22 January 2014

John Travolta will become the latest movie star to discuss his life on the West End stage when he is interviewed at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane by Jonathan Ross on 16 February.

A Conversation With John Travolta offers movie fans a chance to hear the star of films including Saturday Night Fever, Grease and Pulp Fiction talk candidly about his life and career.

The production is staged by the same team that presented An Audience With Sylvester Stallone and An Evening With Al Pacino at the London Palladium, along with Really Useful Theatres Group.

Travolta’s silver screen career has spanned Oscar nominations (Saturday Night Fever, Pulp Fiction), Golden Globe wins (Get Shorty), action movies (Face/Off, Broken Arrow), comedies, (Look Who’s Talking, Look Who’s Talking Too), animation (Bolt) and even cross-dressing in a musical (Hairspray).

Ross, who will interview Travolta, is well known for his TV chat shows and for his years presenting the BBC’s televised film reviews show.

Travolta takes to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane’s stage on the one night the theatre’s regular production, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, does not perform. From Monday to Saturday, the historic venue hosts the musical tale of a young boy who finds a golden ticket that entitles him to look around the more wondrous confectionary factory in the world, run by the deliciously enigmatic Willy Wonka.
