In rehearsal: Things I Know To Be True

First Published 23 August 2016, Last Updated 23 August 2016

Some of the most exciting, heart-warming moments in theatre are when emotions are expressed through movements rather than words. Judging by the latest rehearsal images from Frantic Assembly’s Things I Know To Be True, we should expect many moments of touching physicality in the upcoming UK premiere.

Things I Know To Be True is written by celebrated Australian playwright Andrew Bovell and co-directed by Frantic Assembly’s Tony and Olivier Award nominated director Scott Graham and State Theatre Company’s artistic director Geordie Brookman.

The play focuses on the Price family, with four children who feel ready to leave the nest and experience the world beyond their parents. But this decision brings to the fore many hidden truths about the family and its structure. The play promises to be insightful, frank and poetic. If the touching moments captured in these images are anything to go by, we should be in for a treat.

Things I Know To Be True runs at the Lyric Hammersmith from 10 September – 1 October. To book tickets, visit the official website
