In Pictures: Let It Be takes the bus

First Published 11 July 2014, Last Updated 11 July 2014

It isn’t every day you turn up to Trafalgar Square expecting to take a few pictures of a West End show and end up on a two and half hour tour of London in the company of four men masquerading as one of the most legendary bands of all time.

But this is what happened yesterday when we popped along to the iconic landmark to see what the cast of Let It Be were up to. What began as a quick trip to Westminster Bridge to snap the Fab Four with Big Ben, thanks to London traffic, turned into something of a day trip as cast members James Fox, John Brosnan, Paul Canning and Luke Roberts brought The Beatles’ best-loved tracks to locations across the West End.

So, if you heard someone – rather tunefully – calling for help in Marble Arch or someone else demanding that you come together right now in Leicester Square, there’s a chance you’ll have seen – or at least heard – the Let It Be tour bus as it travelled down the long and not all that winding roads of central London.

If you didn’t, take a look at the gallery above and catch up on what we saw when we got a ticket to ride.
