Man Of La Mancha is inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ story Don Quixote. Cervantes and his manservant are awaiting trial from the Spanish Inquisition. With him, he has a trunk carrying an unfinished novel, Don Quixote. In an attempt to defend him, Cervantes acts out his novel, transforming himself into Alonso Quijano. Quijano, deluded, believes he is a knight errant, renames himself Don Quixote de la Mancha, and sets off on a fantastical quest with his manservant Sancho Panza.

Kelsey is an Emmy award winning and Tony-nominated actor best known for playing Dr Frasier Crane in Cheers and Frasier. He stars alongside international opera star and soprano Danielle de Niese (who’s pictured above) and Cassidy Jonson who share the roles of Aldonza and Dulcinea.

The rest of the cast includes Nicholas Lyndhurst, Peter Polycarpou, Eugene McCoy, Lucy St Louis, Natasha Leaver, Debra Michaels, Julie Jupp, Minal Patel, and Emanuel Alba.

Man Of La Mancha is playing a strictly limited six-week run which ends on 8 June 2019.
