Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is Sheffield Theatres’ fearless, funny and fabulous new musical sensation, a modern day fairytale based on the true story of Jamie Campbell a 16 year-old with a secret to tell – and dreams to realise.

It’s the tale of Jamie New: sixteen, on the edge of possibility, not quite fitting in on a council estate in Sheffield… but with big aspirations. But supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight to become a sensation.

Packed with catchy new songs penned by Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, and touching comedy and warmth from writer Tom MacRae, an uplifting night at the Apollo Theatre lies in store for everybody lucky enough to see it.

If there’s one thing to be sure of, it’s that this new musical really is set to spark conversations out of awe across the London theatre scene – don’t miss it.
