The epic tale of Preah Ream, a man with divine abilities who is abducted by the giant Weyreap, and the monkey commander Hanuman who sets out to save him. Along the way Hanuman faces many challenges including battling sea monsters and transforming himself into an insect.

The story is taken from the Reamker, the Cambodian equivalent of the Indian Ramayana, and is told using masks, elaborate costumes, dance and storytelling, all of which is accompanied by live percussion and woodwind instruments.
