The Vertical HourNadia Blye, a Professor of International Relations at Yale, knows exactly what her view is on Iraq; she has advised the President and seen action in Sarajevo and Baghdad. But a weekend in Shropshire, when she meets her boyfriend’s equally opinionated father, has far-reaching consequences.

David Hare’s first play at the Royal Court for seven years pits personal philosophies against global politics.
