The team behind lauded production ENRON – playwright Lucy Prebble and director Rupert Goold – reunites for The Effect, a new play exploring questions of sanity, neurology and the limits of medicine.
The cast of The Effect is led by pop star turned actress Billie Piper, who may be best known for her TV appearances playing Rose Tyler in Doctor Who and Belle de Jour in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, has London stage credits including Treats at the Garrick theatre and Reasons To Be Pretty at the Almeida.
Piper is joined in The Effect by Tom Goodman Hill, who previously worked with Goold and Prebble on ENRON, Anastasia Hille, who received an Olivier Awards nomination in 2011 for The Master Builder, and Jonjo O’Neill, who recently played Richard III for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
