Prospero has been exiled from his dukedom in Milan. With his young daughter he is put to sea to perish. Fortune lands them on a remote island where, twelve years later, his enemies are also apparently shipwrecked.

On this island Prospero is attended by the super-natural spirit Ariel and the sub-human Caliban. Three actors will play these parts and all other characters in the play. All characters are presented not only as people in their own right but as individual aspects of the psyche to be found in every human soul. The story-telling will be enhanced by three dancers and six musicians. Presented by the creative team behind the Globe Theatre Company productions of Twelfth Night and Richard II.
