Shakespeare’s tale of a man trying to control an uncontrollable woman is played out by the all-male Propeller company.

The drunk Christopher Sly is is abducted by a hunting party and made to believe he is married. He and his ‘wife’ watch a group of travelling players perform a play in which rich gentleman Baptista will only allow his good-natured daughter Bianca to marry if her sharp-tongued and strong-willed sibling Katherina does the same.
