After last year’s enormous success from their award-winning team, pantomime returns to the Hackney Empire in the festive season of 2016 with Sleeping Beauty.

Set in the enchanted land of Hackneytopia, with fairies, unicorns and dragons abound, Princess Aurora is born – once upon a time, of course. Transporting audiences to this fantastical world, Sleeping Beauty sees the malevolent wicked fairy Carabosse cast an evil spell which changes the Princess’ life forever, unless she can take control of her own destiny.

Puntastic, fun for all the family, and brought right up to date, Susie McKenna and Steve Edis craft a spellbinding show stuffed with colourful characters, knockabout comedy, show-stopping musical routines and no shortage of magic and sparkle. The perfect fairytale for Christmas.
