In the show, co-written with Helen Goldwyn and originally presented at Hackney Empire, Jameson plays Joanne Taylor – a former TV Diva who is on the verge of her 55th birthday, seriously single, ‘hot-flushing’ and about to make some drastic changes in her life. Offered the chance to revive her TV career she soon finds her arch rival – the apparently ageless Loretta Monteray – is hot on her heels. Should she go for the ‘nip ‘n’ tuck’ approach or will ‘keeping it real’ give her more of what she wants? Her manager is threatening to dump her if she doesn’t smarten up, and, to top it all her friends have set her up on a date with an ex-boyfriend she hasn’t seen for 25 years…

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision.
