Chris Urch’s funny and moving drama Land Of Our Fathers returns to London from a national tour to tell the story of Welsh miners trapped down a collapsed coalmine.

Set in 1979 on the cusp of the Thatcher era, six miners find themselves stranded underground in South Wales. Awaiting their rescue, tensions escalate as accusations fly, secrets emerge and their very beliefs are tested.

The production received sell-out success at Theatre503 in September 2013 and was winner of Time Out’s Fringe Show of the Year in 2013. Chris Urch’s critically acclaimed debut play concludes its tour with a limited two week run at Found111.
