Following on from a sell-out performance of Pinocchio, this is magical fairy tale that tells the story of a friendship between the statue of the Happy Prince and a little swallow on his way to Egypt for the winter. Standing on a tall column the Happy Prince can see all the misery of the city beneath and although his heart is made of lead it makes him weep. The swallow agrees to stay with and help all the poor people. Told using a colourful puppets and animated sculptures this is a spellbinding experience for children and adults alike.
