Grease, the smash hit musical about high school love, returns to the West End to bring smiles to the faces of all wannabee T-Birds and Pink Ladies.
At Rydell High, Danny Zuko is the lead member of the ultra-cool T-Birds who are only interested in cars, chicks and hanging out with the rest of the group. Sandy is the new girl at school struggling to fit in – especially with the equally cool Pink Ladies. When Sandy and Danny are unexpectedly reunited after a summer fling, she is thrilled to see him again, but Danny can’t help but worry about how hanging out with a ‘good’ girl will affect his reputation. The path of love never did run smooth and Danny and Sandy illustrate this perfectly in this popular story filled with teenage angst and high school dramas.
The Piccadilly theatre’s production of Grease includes all the songs made famous by the 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, including You’re The One That I Want, Hopelessly Devoted and Summer Nights.
