Miriam Elia and Jessica Stevenson present a night of comedy in honor of Hengameh Shahidi, an Iranian journalist and human rights activist who is currently being imprisoned and tortured in Iran, simply for participating in the recent peaceful pro-democracy demonstrations.

The cream of comedy come together for this one-off event that includes Stewart Lee, Julia Davis, Lucy Porter, Arthur Smith, Danielle Ward, Sarah Kendall, Pippa Evans, Shappi Khorsandi, Bridget Christie, Shazia Mirza, Dan Antopolski and Jodie Kamil.

With the backing of Amnesty International, this charity comedy gig aims to highlight Hengameh’s tragic situation, as well as support Amnesty International’s Campaign for Womens Equality.
