Clare Summerskill’s Acts Her Age follows the tale of a forty year old lesbian who finds her own long-term relationship coming to an unexpected end. After her initial knee-jerk reaction of writing the definitive “revenge song” and vowing that she will sing it to thousands of lesbians around the country, thus naming and shaming her ex, we find Clare pondering the various themes of ageing, betrayal and loneliness and the more important and immediate task of looking for a new lesbian love interest in her life!

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision.
