The central character in Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Pyschosis is a woman in the throes of a terrifying psychological ordeal. Throughout the play she confronts a series of figures who try to reason with her: a close friend, a male doctor, another patient, a female lover, until she ends up attacking her own psyche.

Through anger, grief and despair we witness an intense performance in this heroic struggle for life.

Performed in Polish with English subtitles, 4.48 Pyschosis is suitable for theatregoers agd 16 and older.

4.48 Pyschosis is presented as part of Polska Year.
